The Waco Cultural Arts Fest is a 501©3 non-profit corporation created to promote multicultural events for Waco and surrounding Central Texas communities celebrating diversity and fostering greater understanding of cultural differences through the arts. Art and music touch the heart, fire the imagination and draw people together. The Waco Cultural Arts Fest aims to honor art education and the art community through this two day festival of art, music, performance, food and arts activities for all ages.

Born in 1984 from Shreveport's fierce pride in its Louisiana heritage, this iconic celebration transforms the city into crawfish country every winter. Locals and visitors alike gather to crack shells, celebrate the beloved mudbugs, and prove that North Louisiana knows how to party just as hard as anywhere else in the state. It's where tradition meets pure fun—and the crawfish never stop flowing.

Every Memorial Day weekend, the riverfront comes alive with three days of music, art installations, and regional cuisine that draws crowds from across the state. The event sprawls across Julius Breckling Riverfront Park, the bustling River Market District in Little Rock, and extends to North Little Rock's North Shore Riverwalk—a perfect setup for exploring multiple neighborhoods in the crisp late-spring air. Behind the festival is a nonprofit organization that's been operating since 1978, channeling proceeds back into the parks and cultural spaces themselves, with more than $700,000 invested in these public areas over the decades. The whole operation centers on creating an accessible gathering where families can experience live performances, visual arts, and local food vendors all in one weekend, designed with the community's cultural enrichment in mind.
